News Project - Final Representation
The moment we have all been waiting for... WTYB Kindergarten News is here! We had a reveal party for the kids earlier this week and they LOVED the finished product of their news show. I could not be more proud of our students. I think this video is incredible considering that they are 5 & 6 year olds! Students did everything from dictating the script to designing the set and props. Each child had their own job and performed their role so well. I hope you enjoy the news show as much as we did!
Maritime Day!
Today the students and teachers at TIMA celebrated Maritime Day! We could not have asked for a better day spent learning about our school's focus. In the morning, students rotated through maritime centers including nautical flags, knot tying, marine debris, and reading of maritime books. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a school-wide presentation by the lifeguards at the beach and a "water extravaganza". Enjoy the pictures to follow! Thanks to all parents that came out to help.
