Restaurant Project - Serving Style

This week Ms. Beth and Ms. Kelly visited during project time to teach students about an aspect of restaurants previously unexplored - serving. They shared with students from their experience working in restaurants and what some of the duties of a server are at various times. Students were then able to practice their own serving skills as our guests helped transform the classroom into a restaurant. Students acted as patrons, servers, and kitchen staff learning from the experts how to place/take orders, carry trays and much more! The kids learned that serving is not an easy job, especially when a restaurant gets super busy! Thanks to Beth and Kelly for making this experience possible!
